About GuitarJamTracks.com

Hi, I'm Nick. I created this site to become a better guitar player and share my enthusiasm with others. I believe that when you share your ideas, passion and experience it makes your life more meaningful and it's just more fun.

I'm not currently in a band so I really like the idea of being able to practice soloing by playing along with different backing tracks.
The majority of jam tracks on this site aren't mine. I found them on youtube, embedded them and tried to classify them by different criterias for easier navigation. So I'd like to give alot of credit to youtube users who created these great jam tracks and made them available for everyone.

I'd also like to thank my friends and family (emotional background music in some minor key) for sticking by me for all these years... Without you, this site would not be possible... I don't really have a point here :) I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hope you'll find this site helpful in improving your playing and enjoy these backing tracks as much as I do. (To make it easier for me to find and jam to my favorite tracks, I created a new My Favorite label :)

If you have any comments, questions, suggestions or ideas, please don't hesitate to drop me a line. All the best and happy jamming!

  1. Are you kidding Nick.....This is my favorite site and you go right ahead with "Nick's Favorite". I'll store my favorites in it. I particularly like this site for having Major jam tracks on it because I have had a hard time finding anything but minor key jam tracks. Thanks for your effort.

  2. I see no country or bluegrass genre. You might consider adding those, if you are able to find them.

  3. Hey Pat,
Thanks, I'm glad you like the site. You're right, it seems that most of the tracks are in a minor key. I'll try to add more good major jam tracks.

  4. I would definitely like to add some country jam tracks. There doesn't seem to be that many of them though. Please feel free to share if you come across some good ones.

  6. Hi Nick, Just found your website and I really like it. Nice to find something not strictly I/IV or 12 bars though those are good as well. The audio is sounding pretty good as well. I like the suggested scales, I am pretty good mixing the minor/major keys but still need focus on some of the other choices. Great Job!

  7. I have been searching for jamming tracks for a couple of hours and I am sooo grateful I found your site. I am a moody minor kinda player too...it just feels like you can fly away with these type of jams. Anyway, you have put together an excellent site--

    Have a great day.

  13. Hi. Your site is awesome! At the risk of sounding silly (I'm new to this), can you tell me where to find the chords for your tracks? I suppose I can figure it out over time, but it would sure be nice to play along with the tracks. Thanks in advance.
